Pride Durham Sponsorship Opportunities Guide 2024

Introduction

Sponsors come with many benefits, most particularly about funding, which allows us to implement our visions and ideas into reality. Each year we strive to enhance many areas of our social programming, and sponsorship plays a vital role in making that possible. Through our years of growth, we know sponsors can do much more for our community than simply providing financial support. While monetary donations are a crucial part of our infrastructure, we understand the value of various partnerships and are eager to discuss how you can be involved uniquely.

Sponsorship Levels

Rainbow Champion (Top Tier)

  • Non-profit Organization: $5,000+ or equivalent contribution

  • For-profit Business: $7,500+ or equivalent contribution

  • Benefits include your logo in a premium full-page spot in the Pride Guide, prime event signage, a "Rainbow Champion of Pride Durham 2024" title for your marketing, and priority booth space at the event.

Unity Partner

  • Non-profit Organization: $3,000+ or equivalent contribution

  • For-profit Business: $5,000+ or equivalent contribution

  • Enjoy a full-page ad in the Pride Guide, a significant online presence, a "Unity Partner of Pride Durham 2024" title, and event booth space.

Diversity Advocate

  • Non-profit Organization: $1,000+ or equivalent contribution

  • For-profit Business: $1,500+ or equivalent contribution

  • Benefits include a half-page ad in the Pride Guide, online visibility, and the "Diversity Advocate of Pride Durham 2024" title.

Harmony Supporter

  • Non-profit Organization: $500 to $999 or equivalent contribution

  • For-profit Business: $750 to $1,499 or equivalent contribution

  • This level offers a quarter-page ad in the Pride Guide, event signage, and the "Harmony Supporter of Pride Durham 2024" marketing title.

Inclusion Ally

  • Open for Individuals and Small Businesses: Contributions up to $499

  • Show your support with your name in the Pride Guide and the right to use “Inclusion Ally of Pride Durham 2024” in your marketing.

Engage with Us

Your contribution matters. Beyond financial support, we value the diverse ways our sponsors engage with the community. Whether it's through volunteering, providing services, or sharing expertise, we believe in the strength of partnership.

Please note: To ensure your logo and name are included in all promotional and print materials for the 2024 event, we kindly request that your sponsorship intentions and arrangements be finalized by May 15th. This deadline allows us to prepare and distribute our materials on time, ensuring maximum visibility for your organization.

More Location Options

Our events can become extraordinary through simple improvements, such as venues and event locations. We recognize the convenience of local venues and are aware that hosting events farther from home may result in a decrease of attendance. A well-known space is typically more easily accesible by attendees, which allows for a larger audience to attend.

·       Better venues = improved accessibility and increased attendance

·       Better venues may include: larger capacity and elaborate spaces

Providing value, namely through immersive and memorable experiences

We believe that a great immersive experience starts with our creative partners and community. We know how special our attendees are and that they deserve to leave happier than they arrived. We want our festival attendees to be talking about their experiences long after the event has ended.


Some immersive ideas may include:

·       Virtual reality (VR) booth / game stations

·       Hands on activations that relate to your brand or service


Promoting conveniences

Pride Durham wants to provide our attendees with as many conveniences to make the event more comfortable, and enjoyable.


·       Charging stations (phones, laptops etc.)

·       Misting stations

·       Photo Stations

·       Chill Lounges

 

Generating a larger audience to increase ROI

Considering our partners invest assets and resources into our events, Pride Durham wants to ensure we can build a festival that is successful and sustainable for years to come. As we continue to grow, we’ll work hard with our partners to develop engaging campaigns through data indicating what event attendees want to experience onsite and how that will directly benefit our sponsors.

This data will be collected through emails and surveys that will be distributed amongst the event attendees in an attempt to gauge audience satisfaction. This will allow Pride Durham to understand how our attendees relate and engage with our partners year-round.

We know the impact that sponsorship provides in increasing attendance. This occurs through funding which allows Pride Durham to create improvements which, in result, will engage a larger audience and will increase the ROI for our partners.

Pride Durham is looking to create immersive events that draw attention, make memories, and add value to the overall journey at the pride festival and other events.
